CORE is a mentorship program for Black and racialized students at the University of Guelph. CORE pairs upper-year (second year and above) students with a Black or racialized professional, staff or faculty in an area of the student’s interest to support students with building meaningful connections, developing a strong social and professional network, and establishing a community on campus and in Guelph broadly. The Arboretum Auxiliary is a group of enthusiastic individuals who volunteer their time and expertise to assist The Arboretum in meeting its Mission Statement. To achieve this, the Auxiliary is divided into a number of activity groups, each with their own particular area of responsibility within The Arboretum, working with staff members when appropriate. Our work week is normally 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. If you have at least a half day a week for at least one month between May and December you may apply for a volunteer position.
