Jessica Bird, BA '13

Jessica Bird graduated from University of Guelph in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts. From early beginnings at 17, she started climbing the corporate ladder at a variety of financial institutions, winning accolades and awards for her expert financial acumen.

Shortly after graduation, Jessica sat in as Judge for the Canadian University JDC Business Case Competition at University of Guelph as an alumna and also representing Scotiabank.

Previously, Jessica was an active director for the Scotiabankers Committee, an association engaged in giving back to the community. In 2015, Jessica was later awarded as Top Financial Advisor in South Western Ontario.

In the last year, Jessica has transitioned into Mobile Home Financing with Scotiabank covering Southwestern Ontario, exploring her entrepreneurial spirits while still exercising her financial passion.

Jessica is concurrently involved with local charity groups and is an active member in the the Halton & Milton Chamber of Commerce.

Currently, Jessica resides in Milton with her Fiancé Michael (also a U of G alumnus) and enjoys hiking with their dog, Tink.
