The objectives of the HKHBAA are to "engage Alumni in the life of the University" specifically we are trying to:

• Serve the needs of HK/HB Alumni
• Foster relationships and develop a community between Alumni themselves, as well as, with the University
• Engage current students and promote awareness to current students about the association
• Have a pressence on campus and events on campus that we support

In order to acheive these goals the HKHBAA has started numerous initiatives including new on-campus and off campus events, getting involved within the department, using technology to contact alumni and as a source of information and updates, and getting involved in current student activities.
